HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY
We’ve been blessed with the goodness of God, as we are Celebrating 20 Years of Success, and there are many family members, friends, and business
As we come to the close of another busy and productive year, I wanted to personally thank each of you for helping us improve what we do at Village Tales Publishing. Our goal is, first and foremost, to help independent writers bring their work to life; whether they are seasoned or aspiring writers. We’ve worked hard this year to expand and improve our services; signing three new authors whose books are scheduled to be released in 2018, along with our first anthology, Once Upon A Time In Liberia, and adding genre-blend, Reading-Our-World, titles to Sapo Children’s Books. Six new titles were published in 2017, a record for us. What topped our proudest moment was the launching of Sexy Like A Book’s Enchanting Voices, collected works written by six young Liberian women under age 21; Lisa Harris, Victoria Daye, Faith Gray, Marshad Beyslow, Maxita George, and Odell Garkpah— edited by founder, Patrice Juah.
Looking forward to more in 2018, all VTP titles—Paperback and eBooks—will be available to purchase from our online store. For now, we will be shipping internationally to Europe, North and South America and selected African countries. We intend to set up a wholesale distribution center in Monrovia (Liberia) by the end of the year, that we hope will help us reach Liberian readership. We continue to support Let Girls Learn and Girls Education initiatives with Sexy Like A Book, and Reading With Sapo. We look forward to bringing Sexy Like A Book second title to print.
A giant step forward, we are thrilled to announce our first ever newsletter, Village Crier. Village Crier will include periodic publishing updates, company news, promotions, submitted articles by any author, and events communicated in electronic form. Village Town Criers newsletter will be published four times a year; January-March, April-June, July-September, and October-December. Our first issue (April-June) will be released April 1, 2018. A submission for subscriptions is available on our website by signing up with your email address. Readers are encouraged to sign up for access to read online or have it emailed to you.
Happy holidays to all our friends and family. As God leads us into 2018, I pray it will be another fantastic year for all of us.
